After an eclectic and varied career which included:
- spending 15 years in Deptford SE London, running a ground-breaking arts and community action centre, whilst also developing and implementing plans for a new purpose-built centre - the New Albany
- hatching the idea, locating the site and developing the plans for what became Greenwich Cinema
- setting up and running an international touring non-animal circus;
- creating Seeding A Network - a pioneering scheme for arts practitioners and arts managers in central and Eastern Europe who were entering the market economy
- developing a UK wide project training black artists to work in the education sector and training teachers to develop an anti-racist arts curriculum
- working in New York developing an inner city arts program –
- developing Art of Regeneration - a cutting edge, unique, culture-led social regeneration programme
Jenny Harris was Director of Education & Training at the Royal National Theatre in London for 17 years where she has produced over 28 shows touring nationwide and a wide ranging programme of national and international arts in education programmes with a team of 12 full time practitioners and a pool of over 140 freelance associate artists.
Jenny and Chrissie have been working together for 16 years both nationally and internationally, including being Joint Creative Directors of Art of Regeneration.
